Rev. Antonio Malveaux
Assistant Pastor
Antonio Joseph Malveaux was born December 4, 1959 to the late Emile and Dorothy Malveaux in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was raised in the catholic faith as a child and converted to the Baptist faith as an young adult. Antonio has been under the leadership of Dr. Michael P. Williams since 1993. Antonio accepted his call into ministry in 2004, received his license to preach in 2006 and was ordained into ministry in 2014. Currently as the Assistant Pastor of Genesis Church Reverend Malveaux is responsible for areas of Ordinance, Visitation, Benevolence, Prayer, Altar Ministry and C.I.M.S Ministry (College students, Incarcerated, Military and Seniors).
Antonio has been married to the lovely LaDonna Malveaux for 35 years. They have been blessed with 7 wonderful children and 3 amazing grandchildren. Graduating from the Historic Phillis Wheatley High School, his team won State Class 4A Boys Basketball Championship in 1978. At Idaho State University, where he earned an associate degree, he played NCAA Division I basketball where he is ranked third in the school's assist record.
Antonio has worked in the chemical industry for over 28 years and currently the Logistics Manager for Ineos Oligomer LaPorte plant.
