GenOne & NextGEN at The Genesis Church utilizes many different teaching methods including live action videos and performances, object lessons, small group lessons, music, dance, and more! All of this is done with a Bible based  curriculum in an age-appropriate environment to teach children the principles and values that will help them become the leaders God has designed them to be.

GenOne Children's Church 

Every weekend in GenOne, your child will earn coupons by demonstrating Biblical leadership traits such as, regular attendance, inviting their friends to church, bringing their Bibles, and watching internet based video Bible Lessons on. As your child earns these coupons, they will be able to trade them in for Leadership Buttons. Ask a GenOne volunteer in the Children's Church area to learn more!

Family Worship 

As a youth staff we are passionate about teaching our students that we are part of the larger Body of Christ. We want students to rub shoulders with all generations and understand what church is all about. Therefore, on the first Sunday of every month, we have intentionally scheduled FAMILY WORSHIP SUNDAY, so that your teenagers can participate in church with their families and the church at large.

NextGEN Small Groups

Small Groups are offered on Sundsays at 10:30am & Wednesdays at 7:45-8:45pm to promote outreach and relationship. Kids will engage in great times of bible study, games & even monthly HOMEWORK TUTOR NIGHTS! There will regular organized activities & outings to some of Houston's great places to see!

The first Sunday of the month is "Family Worship"!
